New Career Pathways in NZ's Digital Creative Sector

The School of Design, Victoria University is delighted to host the 2012 Design and Semantics of Form and Movement (DeSForM) conference - the premier of this prestigious international conference in the Southern Hemisphere. To honour this occasion, the conference will celebrate and explore the many exciting developments within New Zealand’s emerging digital creative sector. This rapidly expanding professional sector is seeing incredible growth and promises rich career pathways for young designers and others working within related or partnering industries both domestically and abroad.

Calling attention to Wellington’s uniquely diverse digital design community, the School of Design will hold an exhibition featuring a wide selection of recent projects and research from industry, academic staff, and students. The exhibition also will highlight new and notable projects from such New Zealand creative leaders as Weta Digital, Click Suite, RESN, Ponoko, 77 pieces, PikPok, The Gibson Group, Mohawk Media and others.
