Graduates interested in creating their own innovative technology start-up companies are invited to apply for Victoria University’s new postgraduate programme, the Master of Advanced Technology Enterprise.
This interdisciplinary, one-year programme launches in January 2013 and applications are now being sought from passionate, creative students from a wide range of backgrounds including science, engineering, design, commerce and law.

This is next Tuesday and kicks off a very busy period to get through EOY clean up and to reconfigure studio spaces over November through to January 2013.

The last Summer of Tech design event is confirmed now for the 12th of September (next Wednesday) 6:30pm in LT2. It will be Philip Fierlinger from Xero's talk "Design your own future".
Philip has a very interesting design background, and it is definitely worth coming to this talk!

This Wednesday's (August 15th) Summer of Tech Lecture is by David ten Have from Ponoko at the usual place (LT2) and starts at the usual time (6:30 onwards) with the usual feed (pizza).

Jared Forbes from Lumen Digital is going to be giving a talk on "Creating Digital Experiences from Public Spaces" next week (Wednesday, August 8th) at LT2 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm as part of the Summer of Tech Design Bootcamp series.

Congratulations to Matthew Betts for leading Questo! - the winning company at last night's Start Up Weekend Wellington. Max O'Brien was also part of the winning team. Questo! is a parent-friendly platform for eucational gaming to encourage engagement and participation in homework outside of school.
